UX/UI & Product Design
Design Philosophy
Viability, Feasibility, & Desirability
We need to understand the needs of all the governing forces of our product — the business, technology, and most importantly the users. Asking the right questions, making the appropriate trade-offs, and understanding your client's needs are pivotal to this understanding.
Aesthetics and Craftsmanship
It is a well-known concept that aesthetically pleasing visual design is perceived as easier to use. Typography, systematic design, engaging color, and delightful use of image/iconography are what bring good UX alive in a product.
Simple is the Goal
Good UX should always lead to simplicity. Keeping the users in mind, no matter the complexity of a task or flow, we must aim for the user to perceive it as simple or effortless. The impression of this idea is led by creating delightful experiences that leave an impression on the user.
UX is for everyone
An experience created without a principled approach to accessibility is incomplete. We should always be inclusive to all demographics. Accessibility is to be considered at every stage of a design, and not as an afterthought.
